Who Can Say?
What are my words if not spoken in prayer
Or shared with another without
Love and care?
What are my thoughts if not focused on you, Lord?
They are but tainted notions that shall perish by
Your Holy Sword.
What is my heart if filled with pure envy
Instead of transformed with faith,
Hope and charity?
May I speak only words of gold
Heaven sent words that are eternal.
For the precious young and old.
May I think with a renewed mind
So I can help others how not to be
Left behind.
My soul would stay lost
Unless restored by our Shepherd
and made whole.
May my heart be like an open book
So others can find the pure part
Being that of Lord Jesus
Giver of new life
And a joyful
right start.
