The King of kings

The King of Kings

The central figure in human history was a lowly Jew that according even to secular history lived approximately 2,000 years ago. No other person in history has had such an impact. All time before this man showed up is reckoned as Before Christ or B.C., and all time after His birth was recorded as A.D. Anno Domini, Year of the Lord. Some say year of our Lord. Much controversy has arisen over who this man called Jesus of Nazareth really was.
Much of the world regards this man as a myth. Another portion of the world regards Him as a Prophet and allow He was a great one at that. Some religions allow that He was “A” god.I am not interested in who other people say He was or is. An atheist is going to mock and ridicule until at the judgment he will fall at His feet and call Him LORD. -Rom. 14:11 Philip. 2:10- The agnostic will fall before Him and wonder “why did I ever doubt” but it will be too late. Those who believe He is just “a” god or prophet and trusted their religion will realize all to late and to their horror that this lowly Galilean is King of Kings and Lord of Lords Rev. 19:16 and the Righteous Judge. 2:Tim. 4:8 What I am interested in is who does the Bible say He is.
Now some of you out there are going to jump up and down and smirk and scream and laugh and sneer at the very thought that someone is silly enough to believe in a Book. Yea, I’m just that silly. You see, for one thing I have the Holy Ghost of God indwelling me because I dared to believe that silly Book. That Book is more real to me that you will ever be. The Book that God penned through His chosen people is the infallible, inerrant Word of the Holy and Righteous God, and it will one day be what you are judged by. You say, -I don’t believe it-. Well that is your right but you won’t die ignorant that the Bible did say that!

John 12:47-48 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, THE SAME SHALL JUDGE HIM IN THE LAST DAY.
Now you just read those verses didn’t you. See you are not ignorant of what they said. You won’t be able to say “I didn’t know”. All right now. Who does the Bible, NOT HILLBILLY, say that He is. After all Hillbilly is just another sinner saved by the grace of God and I do make mistakes but the Bible doesn’t.Now to get into the verses that identify who this Jesus is: John 1:3,4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. The subject of these verses is God. He is equated with The Word -Logos-. This Logos is said to be God and this same Logos -God -is said to have been “made flesh”. Verse 3 identifies Him as the creator of all things.

Now let’s go to the Old Testament: Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah prophecies that there will be a child born of a virgin and His name shall be called THE MIGHTY GOD and THE EVERLASTING FATHER and IMMANUEL which translated means GOD WITH US.
Matt. 1:23 ~Mark 12:29-32 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is ONE GOD; and there is none other but he:

REJOICE!

The poor and the weak

Sick and the meek

All of God's children

Jesus Christ seeks

Those who believe

Blinded now see

Sickened, now healthy

Oppressed and now free

Spreading the Light

Wise words he'd recite

Guiding his flock

With the way that is right

Before he was caught

The love that he brought

Still spreading today

With lessons he taught

Sweet Jesus Christ

He paid our price

For us and our sins

He gave up his life

My faithful choice

Is by using my voice

I'll sing of his love

I choose to rejoice

The Angels Came - By Stephen Monday

It must have been astonishing,
To the shepherds, who were resting
To see the angels descending
What a holy, manifesting
Fear not, for we, bring ye good news
Was spoken, by the leader
This night a Savior,
hath been born
And he layeth, in a manger
And as they watched, them ascend up
Back to, where they, came from
One looked upon his brethren
They joyously, said hath not we
Seen messengers, from heaven?
And so they went, to Bethlehem
To see their KING of KINGS
When they arrived, they did describe
How they came to know, these things
So Mary knew, their words were true
So they, did bid, them in
The shepherd's saw, the Son of GOD
They gave worship, to the Child
And as they left, each gave their blessing
To have seen,
GODS precious Child

May God richly bless all of you ,
