A Word and a Prayer

A message to and a prayer for a select group of saints, members of the Body of Christ, of which number and names only God knows:

Jesus suffered incomprehensibly, yet willingly, surrendering His body unto death and His very life to the will of the Father for our sake.

It is no sacrifice then that we lay our lives down unto the death of our flesh for Him. It is, rather, a gift from on High that we even recognize the need to do so and that we are even able to do so.

Let us, therefore, as we take up our crosses and die daily, take heed that we do not stand in judgment of anyone who has not come to the knowledge of that truth.

Rather, let us be patient and loving, just as is our Savior, leading quiet and peaceful lives, leading the lost with a most gentle hand unto the knowledge of Christ Jesus, their Messiah. For He truly is their Messiah, as much as He is ours. He raises up the basest of men into kingship. He came to seek that which was lost, not that which was confident (Pharisaical) that they were already found. For God so loved the world, (every one in this world!) that He gave His Only Begotten Son that WHOSOEVER believes in Him should not perish. Background doesn't mean a thing. Because He makes us new creatures, regardless of where we've been. But how shall they believe in a loving Jesus they have never heard of or seen evidence of in those who call themselves the children of God? There is a lost and dying world out there that needs a gentle, but strong and steady leading. They need their Savior. And He has both called you and equipped you to be His hands and feet.

Where are you today? May God, God whose glory outshines that of all gods and makes them into nothing, pour His Spirit of grace and love out so fully into your heart today that your desire to see the lost come to Christ stirs up a new fire in you to go out into the world, in season and out of season, and preach the Gospel, the Gospel inspired by the God who IS Love.

May you begin to be constantly followed and even chased after everywhere you go by signs and wonders sent from on High to awe the lost and bring attention to Him and His power of salvation.

May you be blessed exceedingly that you might be a blessing. May you recognize every opportunity presented to you to be a blessing. May you be given divine discernment.

May you walk uprightly in true reverance for God, in holiness and true righteousness that comes only from Him.

May He bless you and empower you with a spirit of wisdom and love.

May He cause His face to shine upon you and give you peace.

May you walk with a new dance in your steps.

May you be filled to overflow with joy unspeakable.

Lord, pour out Your Spirit upon a great multitude of people, a generation of priests and prophets that will go forth in Your power, for Your honor, in love, in grace, in humility, giving You glory beyond any which has been seen before these days. Yes, Lord, revive us. And more than that, give us new life, new direction, new determination, a brand new fire stirred up in our hearts. In the wondrous Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Upon completing the above prayer, I was immediately given this word: I, the Lord your God call you forth. Come out from among that which defiles you. Stand up. Come forth. Break loose from the shackles that have bound you and run toward Me. Run. Run, I tell you. Run to Me and you shall find Me when you seek Me with all your heart. Blessed are those who heed the words of My prophets. I have a blessing for you, I tell you, a blessing stored up for you that is far beyond that which you desire of Me. Come. Come. Come! Come to Me in the secret place and let Me touch you. Oh, My Beloved, how I desire so just to touch you. I have loved you from the beginning of time. Hold not back from Me that which is Mine. You are Mine. Beloved, you are Mine. And I, I Am yours. Come. Won’t you come? Won’t you come?

I do not know who that is for, and it may very well be for many. But I do know this, when we run to Him with all our might, He is faithful to take two steps toward us for our every one toward Him.
