The Hanging of Haman

The Hanging of Haman

Haman devised a plan
Against all Jews in the land
He wanted them to die-
Especially Mordecai.
A plan was made
A decree wrote-
But in the end
The rope would be
Round Haman's
Own throat.

As Queen Esther too
Was a Jew
(More so- as a precious jewel
In the crown of her beloved King.)
And she was devoted
To firmly end the
anticipated suffering.
"Fast and pray for three days
And three nights "
Was her plea
To all those
listening.

Esther's voice was heard and honored
by her people and by her King -
who truly loved her above everything.

The plan of Haman was found out
He stepped into his own snare
His life now ...not to be spared.
What comes around goes around
And around the neck of Haman
Was a noose of perfect size...
An unknown surprise
Towards his own
demise.

Esther 7: 10 So they hanged Haman on the gallows that
he had prepared for Mordecai.
Then was the king's wrath pacified.
