Land of Promise
An unfailing Light
Perfect and bright
Banishes darkness
And remains
In sight.
The humble can see
Without any fear
And have been
Lifted by Christ
Who dried
Their tear.
Pastures are green
Pleasantly serene
Flowing waters
Are pure and
Clean.
Protected
Are the souls
Of this timeless field
Blessed by The Spirit-
And permanently
Sealed.
God’s angels rejoice.
This Promised Land
Is unique in design
Built on true faith
Shaped- by Hands divine.
They heard the Deliverer speak
Of mansions made for the meek
And knew from within their heart
That they would never have to part.
In the arms of the Deliverer
True believers stay
Praising God always for
His will and His
Way.
God’s angels rejoice.
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
