Like Water

Like Water

Like water...Christ came to the earth
To wash away our sin
Christen our souls within
He'd heal our pain...
Before leaving again.

Like water- Christ came as
A purifying rain-
Transforming a dry desert
Into rich, green grass.
Eternal waters of life
Flow freely from Jesus
And are meant to sustain
The humble and meek
And all those who seek
To live in loving
Obedience unto Him.

Like water- Jesus was lifted up
Rising to the cloud
Witnessed by the crowd
Like water- He'll return here
And to every eye appear
Pure, pristine and clear.

Like water - We are washed by The Word
Bathed in the prayer He prayed
And cleansed in the perfect
Sacrifice He made.



And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

14 But whosoever drinketh of the water
that I shall give him shall never thirst;
but the water that I shall give him shall
be in him a well of water springing
