Friends - Lesson 2
Opening Prayer: Join together in prayer lifting up your needs
and the needs of those suffering in different parts
of the world. May the Lord do a mighty work in His
people moving them to action to bring aid, comfort
and peace to those suffering right now in
desperate need. May our Heavenly Father speak
to our hearts about Jesus - being our very Best
Friend of all.
Lesson Memory Verse: John 15:15 (b) but I have called you friends.

up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth;
for he hath not another to help him up.

1. What do you think makes a good friend? Take turns answering.
2. Is it a comfort knowing you can talk to someone you love and with confidence?
3. Is a good friend thoughtful of others?
4. What can you do this week to let a friend know how
thankful you are that they are part of your life?

5. Who is the Best Friend any of us can ever have?
6. Have everyone join together and say today's memory
verse out loud.
7. How important is your relationship to Jesus? Take turns sharing
your answers.
8. Do you know how much Jesus loves you?
9. Read the following to your children:
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
