Gathering
Attending church means to me
a time to fast from worldly care
and enter into God's House of Prayer
to be alongside my faith family.
It is like boarding a sacred ship
and when all are in and the doors shut
Our hearts join together and lift
in delight of Jesus Christ
our greatest gift.
A journey takes place in the Church Vessel
like the travels of Noah and the Ark
He trusted in God when it was time to embark
Leaving the land and the spiritually dark.
Christ's church is The Eternal Ark
still calling others in
releasing the burdens that
Weigh us down from within-
to then form a firm and
blessed relationship with Him.
Those in need of shelter and Bread
can come to church, rest and be fed.
Hungry souls will be kept afloat
this eternal sacred boat
designed for those
to humbly receive,
Truly believe
and live in the
truth and love
of God.
Matthew 18:20For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
