Boundaries or Obstacles? Try The Roof.

Boundaries or Obstacles?  Try The Roof.

Luke5 :19 and not having found by what way they may bring him in because of the multitude, having gone up on the house-top, through the tiles they let him down, with the little couch, into the midst before Jesus.

Mark 2:4  Being unable to get to Him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above Him; and when they had dug an opening, they let down the pallet on which the paralytic was lying.

What do you do when the door you need to enter is blocked ?

You find another way. Look at the destination you need to reach from all sides. If something you need to do is that important - you will find a way to  meet that need.

These friends of someone who was ill, made a door to Jesus because this labor of love was that important to them. They didn't bang on the door making a bunch of noise. They didn't even attempt to go near the door that was blocked by so many.  Their faith gave them a new path to take. They worked together in one accord  as a team and got their friend to Jesus. The obstacles in their way didn't stop them from their plan.  They made an opening where there was none.  They knew who was in that house and if they worked together they would get their friend to be in the presence of Jesus.

How can this Scripture  motivate you in your own life this week? Don't turn away from a spiritual work that you know to be important. Don't give up. Your faith and your focus will take you to where you need to go .   Are there obstacles ? Obstacles can be removed or worked around. Look at the problem-knowing there is a solution available with the vision of faith and a devoted heart.
