I Would Not

I would not have grown
Without Your love and light
In the dark I’d have stayed,Lord
Poor and blind without sight.

I would not have known
Of new wine from your cup
If You didn’t call me
To Your table to sup.

I would not ever be alone
Or afraid to approach your Throne
Because Christ my Saviour
Washed away my sins
And set me free
Christ my Saviour
Rescued me.
