Today's Bible Reading

Psalm 104:1-6

1Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

2Who coverest thyself with light as witha garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

3Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:

4Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

5Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

6Thou coveredst it with the deep as witha garment: the waters stood above the mountains.

Craft Materials -- Paper plates or Plain white paper - crayons , colored pencils

Craft activity : Have the children draw a picture of their choice that has water in it

and something else living- whether it is water on the grass- or a lake picture with fish.

Explain to them how God's creation serves as a reminder of who made all living things and

how water is a great blessing to all living things.

After The Rain

After the storm

Came to pass

raindrops glistened

upon green grass.

After the storm

the sky was clear-

our hearts were filled

with joy and cheer .

After the clouds rolled away

We began to see

blue skies over the bay

Reminding us ...

That God is in control

Every moment of the day.

Clsoing Hymn:
O Worship The King

O worship the King, all glorious above,
O gratefully sing His power and His love;
Our shield and defender, the Ancient of Days,
Pavilioned in splendor, and girded with praise.
O tell of His might, O sing of His grace,
Whose robe is the light, whose canopy space,
His chariots of wrath the deep thunderclouds form,
And dark is His path on the wings of the storm.
The earth with its store of wonders untold,
Almighty, Thy power hath founded of old;
Established it fast by a changeless decree,
And round it hath cast, like a mantle, the sea.
Thy bountiful care, what tongue can recite?
It breathes in the air, it shines in the light;
It streams from the hills, it descends to the plain,
And sweetly distills in the dew and the rain.

Closing Prayer: Let us close this Sunday school lesson in prayer thanking the Lord for the Earth , the rain , the people of the earth  and for all that He has made. His miracles surround us everyday . Let us always thank our gracious God and rejoice.
