Have I failed more than not...
Keep testing me then
So that I may know when
I've done better in my
walk with You .
So many distractions
that cause me to think
upon dear Peter who did
start to sink
when trying to walk toward You
Distracted by boisterous winds
he feared... unsure what to do.
While I am tested and tried
I pray for you to guide
my heart and steps ...
and I thank you Lord
for your merciful Hand
that lifts me up everyday
to help me stand firm
in your blessed eternal truth .

Trials will, and surely have, come, but they as surely go. As we have faced them and worked our way through them we have grown deeper in wisdom and knowledge as long as our hearts remain stayed on Jesus Who is forever and faithfully waiting on the back side of each trial to greet us with His warm embrace.
